Quality Assurance Coordinator for Industrial Operations
Location: Amsterdam, NY                                             
Reports To:  Assistant Director of Industrial Operations                                        
Physical Requirements: Normal Office Environment
Hours of Work: Full Time, 37.5 hours a week. Mon – Fri. some travel required.
Job Qualifications:
  • Four (4) years of experience working within a Quality Assurance environment, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
Major Responsibilities:
  • Maintain standard operation procedures related to Manufacturing
  • Maintain control documents such as Bill of Materials, Specifications, Total Job Analysis
  • Oversee and maintain SDS and Product Labels in consult with Regulatory Manager
  • Participate in internal and external trainings as required to maintain knowledge of latest Regulatory directives
  • Ensure written and practiced Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) maintain compliance with FDA, Source America, NYSID, DOL, NYS Ag & Markets and other regulatory entities
  • Maintain Food Safety Plan and corresponding Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) including certification as a Preventative Controlled Qualified Individuals (PCQI)
  • Remain familiar and knowledgeable with 29 CFR
  • Ensure and implement effective plans of corrective action (CAPA)
  • Provide staff training and guidance related to regulatory adherence and internal procedures
  • Perform internal audits and participate and lead audits and inspections with external sources
  • Maintain Deviation Disposition Reporting
  • Monitor and verify required lab testing
  • Personnel management of the Quality Control staff within Industrial Operations
