PR Digital Marketing Coordinator
Location: Amsterdam, NY                                             
Reports To: Director of Public Relations and Development                                                                  
Physical Requirements: Normal office environment
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week.  Overtime as needed.  Some evening & weekend hours related to agency events.
Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Public Relations/Communications-related field or equivalent academic experience
  • Website maintenance and social media experience essential; computer and general office skills required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License
Major Responsibilities:
Public Relations
  • Prepare, submit and follow-up media releases for all Liberty programs and subsidiary corporations, as appropriate
  • In conjunction with Department Director, develop and implement public education and/or marketing strategy for all Liberty programs and subsidiary corporations
  • In conjunction with Department Director, develop and implement print and broadcast marketing plan for Liberty Fresh Market
  • Coordinate & assist in writing articles for agency newsletter, annual report & other publications
 Digital Marketing Coordination
  • In conjunction with Department Director, help coordinate the development and implementation of the annual digital marketing plan for Liberty and Liberty Fresh Market, which includes:
    • Maintenance of  Liberty & Liberty Fresh Market websites
    • Create content for and monitor Liberty & Liberty Fresh Market social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn & YouTube)
    • Monitor website & social media analytics for Liberty & Liberty Fresh Market
Other PR
  • Act as a resource for implementation of agency strategic objective related to internal & external communication
  • Assist and/or coordinate Liberty events/activities including, but not limited to: in-house/community displays/events, art show, open houses, tours, etc.
  • Review all local newspapers for Liberty-related and other articles of interest to organization/department
  • Assist with events to include, but not limited to: designing fundraising materials and other event-related materials; helping with event set-up/day of/take down and other tasks as assigned.
  • Assist in maintaining Fundraising Database, as needed
  • Assist with projects within the department, as assigned.
