Licensed Practical Nurse – Residential Program
 BASE RATE OF $15.43/hr
 
Location: Montgomery County, NY                                           
FLSA:
Non-Exempt
Reports To:  Residential Manager                                    
Physical Requirements:
Occasional Lifting, normal office environment, ability to lift 50lbs
Hours of Work: Vary from site to site
 
Job Qualifications:  
  • Currently licensed and registered in New York State
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year clinical nursing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
  • Excellent communication skills needed.
  • Must be med certified and complete other training courses. 
  • Must be able to read & write the English language
  • Valid NYS Driver’s license

Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Attending trainings and house staff meetings as needed.
  • Communicating medical issues with all members of the team.
  • Providing a safe, comfortable home environment.
  • Travel may be required; employee must have reliable transportation available
  • Other duties deemed related to the job by your supervisor.
