Accounting Clerk I
Location: Amsterdam, NY                                             
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Billing & AR Manager                                                               
Physical Requirements: walking, reaching, bending, lifting, sitting, standing
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week. Overtime as needed.
Job Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • High School Diploma and 3 years experience.
In Addition:
  • Prefer OPWDD experience.
  • Must be accurate, able to work independently and be detail oriented
  • All candidates must be able to fluently read, write and speak the English Language.
  • Process Monthly Medicaid billings, private insurance and 00
  • Manage SSA/SSI, Medicaid eligibility requirements, Food Stamps for Residential consumers.
  • Assist with set up and maintenance of participant bank accounts.
  • Reconcile Monthly SSA/SSI Receivable and Due to work papers
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.
