Clerk I - HR
 
Location: Amsterdam, NY                                             
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: HR Manager                                                                
Physical Requirements: Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, sitting, standing, kneeling.
Hours of Work: Up to 28 hours, Mon-Fri

 
 
Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a clerical position.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required
  • Must be accurate, able to work independently and be detail oriented
  • All candidates must be able to read, write and speak the English Language.
  • Valid NY State driver’s license 
 
Major Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical support to Human Resources
  • Copying, filing and general clerical duties
  • Main back-up for switchboards at both DT and LE when receptionist is out
  • Available for HR functions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by HR department
