Assistant Director Of Clinical

Assistant Director for Clinic Services
                            
Location: Montgomery and Schenectady Counties. NY
FLSA: Non-exempt
Reports To:  Director of Medical and Clinical Services          
Physical Requirements: Normal Office Environment                                                       
Hours of Work: Monday thru Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with flexible schedule. 
Full time, 37.5 hours with some travel required.
Pay Range: The pay range is $68,900 to $94,270


Job Summary: 
Responsible for coordinating the operations of the Article 16 clinic and overseeing related clinical departments and staff, including schedules and productivity. Also responsible for budgetary oversight and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Job Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. At least 3 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities or specialized training in the field with progressive supervisory experience.
  • One year experience in a  Clinical setting preferred.
  • Experience in usage of Electronic Medical Record System, ex: Medent preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must posess a valid NYS drivers license.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the operations of the Article 16 Clinic and administrative clinical functions of OT, PT, Dietary, SLP and the behavior department.
  • Supervise clinical staff in OT, PT, Dietary, SLP, and the behavior department.
  • Oversee Article 16 Clinic schedules and clinician productivity.
  • Maintain department budgets and ensure accurate documentation and billing requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical policy and other department and agency policies and procedures as well as all state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate the agency’s guardianship program.
